Reason super groups allow you to organize your location groups into even larger groupings. So you can create larger folders that your reason group folders get stored in.
For this example, let's say you run a spa that offers seasonal treatments in addition to the standard services. In the spring you offer Brightening Microgreen Facials and Botanical Body Scrubs, in the summer you offer Cooling Cucumber Facials and Watermelon Body Scrubs, in the autumn you offer Pumpkin Spice Facials and Spiced Cider Body Scrubs and in the winter you offer Arctic Berry Facials and Hydrating Shea Body Scrubs.

How to Create a Reason Super Group
First, you're going to organize your services into 8 different reason groups - 1 for each of the services you offer -
Now that your reason groups are set up the way you want them, you're going to create 4 reason super groups to organize them even further - Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. You will include both of the reason groups you have created for each of the seasons in all 4 of these reason super groups. You'll begin by clicking on the Add New Reason Super Groups button under Settings > Services & Classes > Reason Super Group -
This will take you to the Add New Reason Super Group page, where you can see the following fields -
- Reason Super Group Name - This displays the name of the reason super group that clients will see.
- Internal Display Name - This displays the name of the reason super group that staff will see.
- Reason Super Group Description - This appears under the reason super group name on the Client Scheduler.
- Private Reason Super Group - This determines if this reason super group will be visible on the public scheduler or just on any private booking site and the Backoffice.
- Reason Groups to include - Check the boxes next to any reason groups that will be included in this reason super group.
You'll need to click on the green Save button on the upper right to add this new reason super group, and you'll then need to repeat the steps from above to add your other reason super groups in which you will need to include the relevant reason groups.
How to Edit a Reason Super Group
Once you've created a reason super group you may decide to change the name of the group or another detail at a later time. To do so, you'll first need to navigate to Settings > Services & Classes > Reason Super Groups and click on the View button next to for example the Summer super group -
This will take you to the Reason Super Group Profile where you can view the Reason Super Group Name, a few text fields that I can use to populate my emails and the custom booking site. To edit this profile page, you'll need to click on the blue Edit button on the upper right of the profile -
You can see that this location group profile consists of 2 sections that can be accessed from the upper left menu, Overview and Reason Groups. You can also view the contents of the Reason Groups tab by scrolling down to the bottom of the page, and can add more reason groups to the super group by clicking on the blue Edit button at the top of the section.
Adding Reason Super Groups to the Scheduler Panel Flow
To include service groups in your scheduler's flow, you'll want to follow these steps -
First, go to Settings > Services & Classes > Service & Class Panel Settings -
On the window that appears, you'll need to check the box next to Show Reason Super Groups in Flow -
This will give you the option to rename the title bar for the reason groups panel as well as add some header text if you'd like -
Once you've personalized the values of these fields, you'll need to click on the green Save Changes button at the bottom of the window.
Now when a client visits your scheduler, a new panel will show up prompting them to select the reason super group for the appointment being booked -
And once they select the reason super group, they can select the desired reason group -
