Screening questions are useful in situations where a specific requirement must be met in order to book an appointment. For example, you might offer a service that requires the client to be at least 18 years old, or perhaps the service you provide requires that the client has filled out a form with your office before they can book an appointment. In any case, you can use our screening questions feature to control who can book appointments through your Client Scheduler.
In this documentation we'll cover -
Once you do, you will be taken to the Add New Screening Question page where you can make some configurations to the new screening question -
- Title - Give this screening question a title here that will show on the Client Scheduler above the question.
- Question - Enter the question here the exact way you would like for it to appear on the scheduler.
- 'Pass' Button Label - Enter the label for the pass button here.
- 'Fail Button Label - Enter the label for the fail button here.
- Fail Response - This is the message that will appear if the client selects the "Fail" option to your screening question. It may be helpful to add instructions on what clients should do if they don't meet the requirements to book that service with you. (For example, "Please call 1-555-123-4321 if you have questions about your disqualification.")
When you're satisfied with your screening question, you'll want to click on the green Save button on the upper right. Once you do, you'll get taken to the Screening Question Profile where you will see a warning message that tells you this screening question is not yet active -
To resolve this, you'll need to click on the blue Edit button for the'Services & Classes that require this Screening Question section. For this example, let's say you need to apply this screening question to your Jazzercise Class -

When you click on this button, a window that shows the screening question pops up -
If you click on the Fail button - No in this example - you will be see the error message you set in a new window -
If you click on the Pass button, the screening question window closes, as the Client Scheduler would now allow you to continue booking.
To preview your screening questions in the scheduler, you'll need to click through the panels until you reach the Service panel. Select the service that you have assigned a screening question to, and you will see the question pop up -
If you select the fail response, the fail message will appear -
But if you select the pass response, you will move forward in the scheduling flow.
This will take you to the Service or Class Profile, where you'll want to click on the blue Edit button on the upper right -
You can then use the Screening Question dropdown menu to set another screening question, or you can choose not to apply a screening question at all -
If you choose to remove the screening question from a service or class profile, you will notice that the value of the Screening Question field will revert back to 'No screening question applied' -
