If you offer more than 1 kind of group appointments, you will want to add additional classes to your account.
Let's say you're a yoga instructor and you offer a 75 minute Vinyasa Flow class and a 60 minute Balance class. You would need to add 2 different classes - 1 for Vinyasa Flow and 1 for Balance.
This documentation is going to walk you through how you can create different types of classes for your account. Once you have created those classes, you'll want to add class sessions, whether they be on a recurring or single schedule.
To add a new class, you'll want to navigate to Settings > Services & Classes > Add New Class -
This will take you to the Add New Class flow -
- Class Name - This is the class name that clients will see when they are booking an appointment.
- Class Internal Name - This is the class name that staff will see when logged into the Backoffice - if this field is left blank, the value of the Class Name field will be used.
- Class Description - This appears underneath the class's name on the Client Scheduler and can be used to provide more details about this particular class.
- Staff who will offer this Class - This lists the different staff members on the account that offer this class.
- Screening Question - This is where you can assign a screening question to this class from the list of questions you've added. Screening questions allow you to make sure that clients meet certain criteria before they are allowed to see the available times for appointments. Only 1 screening question can be applied per class.
- Allow Wait List - Check this box if you would like to apply a waitlist to this class. This will make it so that if a client is trying to book into a class session that is already at max capacity, it will prompt them to join a waitlist that will notify them if any sessions become available.
- Private Class - Check this box if you would like to show this class only at the class's private URL and in the Backoffice when staff are adding appointments for clients.
- Session Duration - This is how long each class session lasts for the client. You can extend the total time that gets booked on the staff's schedule by adding a buffer before or after the appointment.
- Class Price - This is how much money booking 1 class session costs. If you have a payment portal set up and require payment, then the client will be asked to submit the dollar amount entered in this field upon booking (unless there is a deposit amount entered).
- Deposit - If you don't require the full price for the class session upon booking, but only want to collect a deposit amount, enter that amount in this field. You must have a price entered in order to have a deposit.
