The Availability view provides a snapshot of your staff's availability and how it's being allocated. This simplifies booking new appointments, rescheduling existing ones, coordinating schedules and tracking time off.
The Availability view is ideal for staff members who need to stay updated with daily business operations.

Finding the Availability View
You can access this view by clicking on the Availability tab on the upper right of the Appointments tab -
The Filter panel on the left allows you to adjust the view by selecting or deselecting individual statuses, locations, staff and services & classes.

Understanding the Availability View
The Availability view uses color coding to provide a clear overview of what's scheduled at your assigned locations and which staff members are involved -
- White boxes - Staff has open availability to accept appointments.
- Dark gray boxes - Staff does not offer any availability - appointments cannot be booked during this period.
- Color-coded boxes - Represent appointments, scheduled classes or time off events - additional appointments cannot be booked during this period unless you override the times.
- The Filter panel on the left lets you customize color coding based on Status, Location, Staff or Service & Class using the Color By dropdown.
Adding Appointments in the Availability View
The Availability view is one of several ways to manage your TimeTap appointments. It includes many of the options available in the Calendar view.
The Add Appointment and Add Time Off buttons are available at the top of the page, and can be used to create new events that block availability -
You can also click directly on any open availability space and the Add New Appointment page will load with that staff, location, and date/time already pre-populated.
