By default, appointments in the calendar view get displayed in the timezone of the client assigned to the appointment. If you want to display appointments in your timezone, however, you'll need to follow the steps below. This is especially helpful when viewing appointments that are scheduled with other staff who are in different timezones than yours.
In this example, we have 2 staff members -
Staff 1 - This staff member is based in New York City, NY, and their timezone is Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Staff 2 - This staff member is based Los Angeles, CA, and their timezone is Pacific Standard Time (PST).
There's a 3 hour difference between PST and EST, therefore 10 AM EST for Staff 1 is equivalent to 7 AM PST for Staff 2.
A client books an appointment with Staff 2 at 10 AM EST, so when Staff 2 logs in, they will see the appointment on the calendar view in the 10 AM time slot -
Staff 1 doesn't want to have to figure out what 10AM PST is in their timezone. To show appointments in the timezone of the person who is viewing the appointment, we'll first click on the Configurations tab while on the Calendar view -
In the Calendar View Defaults section, check the box next to Adjust Appointment Times to My Timezone for all Staff and click on the green Save button. This will adjust the appointments in the Calendar view to display the start times in the timezone of the staff viewing the calendar instead of the timezone of the staff that the appointment is assigned to -
Once Staff 2 logs in and goes to the Calendar view after these changes have been applied, the 10 AM EST appointment will now appear in the 7 AM time slot -
