Only account owners and administrators can remove staff from your account, and staff can be deleted either from the Active Staff List or from the staff profile itself. To do so from the Active Staff List, you'll need to navigate to Settings > Staff and then click on the red Delete button to the right of the staff you want to remove -
This will bring up the Deactivate Staff window where you can confirm that you want to delete the staff from your account -
If the staff that you are deleting currently has any open appointments on their schedule, you'll have to choose what you want to do with those appointments. You can either -
- Deactivate staff and cancel all open appointments - This would then give you the option to send out the appointment cancelled email to all of the clients who had open appointments with this staff.
- Deactivate staff and keep all open appointments - This would keep all open appointments that are already scheduled with this staff.
In this example we are going to select that we want to cancel all of the staff's open appointments and click on the red Confirm & Deactivate button -
From here we will get the option of if we want to send an email to the client about the cancelled appointments along with the option to add a Cancellation Note explaining why we have cancelled them. We'll then need to click on the red Confirm & Cancel button to both cancel the appointments and complete the deactivation of the staff -
Once we have clicked to Confirm & Cancel, we will get redirected back to the updated staff list with the deactivated staff no longer visible.
To delete a staff from the staff profile, you'll need to go to that staff profile and click on the red Deactivate button found under the staff name -
Please note that doing either of these will only deactivate the staff and will not actually delete them from the account. To truly delete them you will need go to the Inactive Staff tab on your Staff page and click on the red Delete button next to their name -
